Operating Assets

Built on decades of hands-on Permian Basin experience, BCP Resources acquires and develops mature vertical well fields — applying proven recovery techniques to unlock value in assets that larger producers have left behind.

Permian Basin Operations

BCP Resources currently operates oil and gas assets across multiple counties in West Texas, with a concentrated focus on the Permian Basin. Our asset base consists primarily of legacy vertical wells — properties that offer significant upside through disciplined operations, workovers, secondary recovery programs, and selective new drill opportunities.

Beyond legacy asset optimization, BCP Resources actively pursues exploration and new drilling opportunities, including non-operated farmout participation and operated new drills where subsurface data supports it. Our team's hands-on field expertise allows us to evaluate and execute on these opportunities with the same discipline that has driven up to 20x production increases on acquired assets.

BCP Resources' partnership with Frost Bank — one of the largest E&P lenders in the Permian Basin — provides the company with a flexible, long-term PDP lending relationship that supports both acquisitions and development capital. This banking relationship enables BCP to move quickly and confidently on new opportunities as they arise.

Agile Asset Portfolio & Commodity Flexibility

Reagan & Upton County · Legacy Vertical Wells

Active Production

Producing from ~3,500' of stacked pay intervals—including our 105-well acquisition in Reagan and Upton counties—gives BCP a distinct strategic advantage. Because our footprint spans both oil-prone and gas-prone areas, we maintain the operational flexibility to rapidly pivot our active well count. Whether market prices dictate maximizing liquid oil production or rich dry gas, we quickly adapt to changing commodities to ensure low-cost, stable production and cash flow.

Legacy Vertical Wells

Active Production

Acquired in 2023, these low-decline legacy assets anchor our Permian Basin footprint on the unique Central Basin Platform. We currently produce from the Clearfork, Wichita-Albany, Wolfcamp, Mississippian, and Devonian formations. Our growth strategy includes increased near-term exploitation within the Clearfork and Wolfcamp/Mississippian zones, alongside significant future development mapped in the Barnett and Woodford plays.

Lease Position

Active Development

Secured across 2025 and 2026, this 5,424-acre lease position features two producing vertical wells and immense upside. BCP has fully funded the project, retaining a 30% working interest and operatorship to explore, drill, and develop highly lucrative Lower Wolfcamp and Deep Pennsylvanian intervals. This presents a rare, early-entry exploration opportunity to capitalize on an emerging play before broader industry adoption.

Our Operational Approach

How we develop and operate our assets to maximize production and returns.

Permian Basin Focused

All current assets are located in West Texas — a region BCP's leadership team has operated in for decades. Geographic focus allows deep local knowledge and strong landowner relationships.

Legacy Vertical Wells

We target mature vertical well fields that large E&P companies have divested or overlooked due to their smaller scale. These assets often have significant remaining reserves and workover upside.

Secondary & Tertiary Recovery

BCP actively pursues secondary and tertiary recovery opportunities across our asset base, applying modern techniques to mature reservoirs to extend productive life and increase recovery factors.

Exploration & Drilling

Our leadership team brings direct experience managing large-scale workover, drilling, and completions from Marathon Oil Company, Kinder Morgan, and Pioneer Natural Resources, including over 1,000 horizontal wells to ensure reliable and cost-effective well development from spud to production across all assets.

Growth Through Acquisition

The Permian Basin operated asset base is projected to grow significantly as acquisition opportunities are evaluated. BCP Resources continuously screens potential targets using a disciplined framework focused on legacy vertical well fields with secondary recovery potential.

Our partnership with Frost Bank — one of the largest E&P lenders in the Permian Basin — provides BCP with flexible capital to move quickly on attractive acquisition opportunities as they arise.
